A little bit about us:

Epiphany is a horde guild, located on Mal'Ganis US. We are currently 6/12 Heroic, 11/12 normal and formed on May 02, 2010. A few of our members originate from the guild "Scripted Encounter", a very well progressed guild on Mal'Ganis which held a standing of 11/12 Heroic 25 Icecrown Citadel bosses down. We have been holding down our place in server ranking - so you can count on us to be reliable, and knowledgable players. The other part of our player base originates from a Mal'Ganis pug that has been lead by Cryssy for several weeks, and I'm proud to say they have exceeded the expectations I had. All of us have been raiding together for about 2 to 3 months in different situations - some have been raiding with others longer, as well.

What you can expect from us:

As previously mentioned, you can expect a solid officer base and raiding core. We strive to be the best we can be, and we are also fair. We are hard on our raiders when we need to be, but maintain a fun and laid back raiding environment.. You can expect us to clear content in a considerable amount of time as our players are quick learners, and very skilled listeners. We take all of our boss explanations seriously, going into detail with positioning, spreading out, assignments on targets and so on. Many of our members have experience beyond what would normally be expected of a "semi-hardcore" guild such as ours, with a few players from guilds ranked very high in the world. Despite how recently we formed, we have already killed a new hard-mode boss (Deathbringer Saurfang), bringing us to 6/12 hard-mode bosses, with many more on the way.

All in all, we will keep you if you can display the aforementioned qualities and also possess a good attitude and won't bring down the environment.

What we are looking for:

People who can take constructive criticism, patience, diligence and persistance. We don't want any flakey raiders or trade chat trolls. We're looking for honest and sensetive human beings, people who can effectively communicate and also people who speak up for themselves. We are also looking for people who research their class, specific role in the encounter we are trying to push past, read strategies, partake in boss strategy discussions and can intelligently get their point across.

Raid times:

Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday from 7-11 CST (Mal'Ganis server time). Please feel free apply at epiphanyguild.org if you feel you'd be a good fit. Also don't hesitate to hop on Mal'Ganis and whisper either Haichew, Doxq, Cryssy, Aliela or Wal if you have any questions.

Loot:

Loot distribution during <Epiphany> raids currently consists of a loot council made up of our senior members (Officers) and the Guild Master. To 'bid' on an item, you simply link which item you are replacing, along with which spec it will be used for in RAID chat. The group of officers will then discuss privately who they view as most worthy of receiving the piece of loot, based on the factors listed in the below paragraph, and the person with the most votes will receive the piece of loot. Keep in mind that loot is seen as a tool for the guild, not an award. The majority of the time loot will be awarded by how much it will ultimately benefit the guild as a whole. Loot decisions are NOT popularity contests; it is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: past attendance, previous loot awarded, how much of an upgrade it is, performance, attitude and reliability.

Look forward to hearing from many applicants,

Epiphany Officer Core
