“Great Moments in History” Guild

<Great Moments in History> was originally formed in January of 2008 on Destromath and rerolled on Proudmoore in September of 2015. Many of our members started playing in Vanilla, and we're a "serious raiding guild"-turned-"casual raiding guild" (with the love of min-maxing firmly intact). We're a mature group of players looking for friendly (and competent) team members to add to our core roster. If you're interested in completing Heroic content on a 1-2 day raiding schedule, join us!

Recruitment:

• Excellent DPS
  

We are always recruiting skilled and dedicated players. Our trial period generally lasts 4 raids, and we evaluate players on their attitude, performance, and situational awareness.

Raid Schedule:
Friday 6pm-9pm PST
Saturday 9am-Noon PST

Raid invites start 15 minutes in advance. During this time, we clear up to the first boss, and we typically pull the first boss at raid start time.

Loot System:
Personal loot is default. If something isn't useful to you, please link it in raid chat and allow an open roll so it can go to someone who needs it.

Requirements:

• Maintain a reasonable rate of attendance (75%+).


• Study up on strategies before the raid. GMiH strats will be posted in Discord and you can feel free to ask any questions or discuss any concerns you have there.


• Install and use Discord.


• Install and use DBM (or Big Wigs, if you prefer)


• Have a good attitude. Everyone gets frustrated, but don’t take it out on your teammates.


• RSVP to raids using the in-game calendar.
