“Scarlet Aristocracy” WoW Guild

Scarlet Aristocracy is currently looking to bolster our ranks in preparation for ICC, and to continue progression through current content. We are currently recruiting the aforementioned classes, but we will also consider applications from exceptional players of any classes.

We recruit for raid spots. We run a moderate raiding schedule and expect that any potential recruit is able to make all scheduled raid nights. Our roster is competitive and as such, you would be invited to 99% of all progression raids should you perform at a high level. We also welcome any potential reroll or faction transfer that is interested in the opportunity to raid with us (Having gear is not a concern. Having skill, dedication, and maturity is. Please be able to demonstrate your skill, dedication, and maturity if you are applying with less then ample gear).


Guild Information

Scarlet Aristocracy is defined as a 'moderately hardcore' progression guild. We raid with a moderate raid schedule (4 days, 15 hours a week) We take our time seriously, and hit current progression hard and with focus to maximize our time. Our age demographic ranges from 18-39, with most raiders represented in the upper range of that bracket. We intend to conquer all raid content in ToC/ToGC, ICC, and beyond, as well as experience raid achievements (both 10 and 25 man). Guild atmosphere is pleasant and very laid back; we often joke around in guild chat, and have fun on Ventrilo. That being said, accountability is a key value among the officers and raid leaders, and it is expected that your character(personal character and in game character) and playstyle demonstrate that value.

Sun, 6:00pm - 10:30pm CST
Mon, 7:00pm - 10:30pm CST
Wed, 7:00pm - 10:30pm CST
Thurs, 7:00pm - 10:30pm CST

Off nights usually involve running heroics, PvP, old world instances, or 10 man raids. We have multiple subset of raiders finishing up Glory of the Ulduar Raider (we have several groups who have completed the meta achievement) and a subset of raiders who have completed Trial of the Grand Crusader 10 man, so finding things to do on non-raid nights is pretty easy.


Raid Progression

All regular raid content is cleared. Our current raid progression is show below (updated as of November 1st, 2009).

Loot Distribution

25 man loot is handled by a simple silent bid, fixed sum DKP system. Members earn DKP for boss attemps or boss kills and have the opportunity to bid on items once they drop. Each member will send a bid stating 'Need' for a main spec bid or 'Offspec' for an off spec bid. The member with the highest DKP for main spec will win the bid. Should no one want the item for main spec, any off spec bids will be decided by a random roll. Off spec items are then purchased for a small stipend. While this may seem steep, it is offset by the guild paying for your repairs during progression content!
