“Sanguinans” Guild

About Us

<Sanguinans> is a recently reformed guild that consists of a number of raiders from <Sanguinans> on US-Bleeding Hollow and some of the top raiders from <Biased> on US-Stormrage. We are fairly competitive yet casual guild; many of us have been raiding together for a very long time, some of us years together, but we also take progression fairly seriously. We will likely never be a realm 1st guild, if it happens it happens. We take content at our own pace with progression in mind.


Raid Times & Attendance

Our raid times are 8-11 PM Server/Eastern on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We do not demand 100% attendance, but keep an eye on it. We expect you to show up for the raids you can attend, but real life always comes first.


Progression

We are currently 7/7 Normal and 7/7 Heroic in Highmaul.
We are currently 9/10 Normal and 6/10 Heroic in Blackrock Foundry

We were previously 10/14 Mythic (Heroic) in Siege of Orgrimmar last expansion


Our Expectations of You

* We expect you to be fairly well geared, gear isn't everything, but it does matter. We prefer our raiders to be 660+ with their 680 ring

* We expect you to understand the mechanics of each encounter and your role within those encounters.

* We expect you to understand how to play your class and perform it at the highest level you can. There are plenty of resources online and we generally have someone in the guild that knows how to play a spec. There's no reason you should not understand how to play your class correctly

* We expect you to have a positive attitude towards raiding. No one likes wiping, but it's part of the game, especially in Heroic and Mythic level raids. We have no problem removing you if your attitude isn't right.

* Come ready to raid. We have a very supportive guild that helps with Flasks, Feasts, and Potions. We understand that people have busy lives and sometimes can only log on for raid, we do our best to facilitate the needs of everyone, but we expect you to have your gear properly enchanted and gemmed.


Recruitment


Recruitment for our core progression team is limited. We are looking for a few exceptional players who are 660+ with their 680 ring at least.

We are currently in high demand for 2 mages, an enhancement shaman, and a balance druid

We will consider strong applicants of the following specs: Shadow Priest, Balance Druid, warlock, and DPS warrior with a prot off-spec (we expect you to off-tank at certain times)

We will also consider exceptional Feral Druid, and Elemental Shaman applicants

Healing spots are limited: Resto Druid and Disc/Holy Priest spots are closed, no exceptions. We are looking for a strong Resto Shaman, Holy Paladin, and/or Mistweaver Monk

Main Tank recruitment for our progression team is closed

Friendly and PvP-oriented applicants are always welcomed


Logs

Logs can give you a general idea of where you stand compared to our raid. You may find that you are lower than our average dps or higher.

Just because you pull more dps or hps than one of our raiders does not mean you will replace them. Guilds and raids are a joint effort, many people have roles that extend beyond simply doing damage or healing. We take these things into consideration, even if they aren't shown on a meter.
