“Out of Line” WoW Guild

If you wish to join our ranks, it is first important to understand why we formed this guild. Out Of Line was originally formed by a group of friends from a larger “parent” guild on Stormreaver and later faction changed to Horde. We signed our guild charter with the hopes of becoming one of the most competent raiding forces on our server – a goal which we have obtained. If you have the desire to join us in our endeavors, you’d probably do well to brush up your PVE/PVP skills, since you’ll be doing a lot of it with us.

It should be known that we are extremely selective. We accept nothing less than the best; if you don’t feel that you can commit to our minimum requirements listed below, don’t bother applying.

The ideal candidate for a position at OOL is competitive by nature, experienced with the end-game content, patient, mature, able to follow directions, willing and able to learn, friendly and generous. The ability to attend 90%+ of scheduled raids is very important. Use of Ventrillo is mandatory, no exceptions. A working microphone is mandatory, no exceptions.

Out of Line takes Achievements very seriously. If you plan on applying to our guild, we will look very closely at how much time you have spent working on them, not only in raids but in Dungeons as well. Don’t bother applying if your achievement history isn’t significant.

Out of Line is not only a hardcore PVE guild but hardcore PVP as well. The vast majority of our members participate in PVP at some level. It is highly recommended that you have some PVP background – we will look in detail at your armory profile to see how active you have been. While not all encompassing, we feel PVP helps round out our players skill level and reaction time in a raiding environment.

We are not a family guild. If you are offended by the use of profanity, then please do not apply. Guild chat is filled with adult topics and humor, and if you are offended easily then we are not the guild for you.

Over time, all of our guild members enjoy themselves in a fun, yet competitive environment. We have an extremely low attrition rate and work hard to maintain our roster. Do your job well, and you’ll fit right in.

Is Out of Line the guild for you?

-Able to raid on a CST timetable – Sunday through Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays when pushing new content

-Can dedicate 5-6 nights for raiding, past 12am if necessary while learning new content

-Excellent situational awareness

-Come prepared for raids (consumables)

-Are dedicated, responsible, willing to learn

-Have end-game experience

-Can take constructive criticism

-Have ventrilo and a working mic (mandatory)

-Are Mature (18 or older)

Minimum Requirements:

Full tier 9 or better – Gear, Rings, and Trinkets should be commensurate with experience level. 2 viable Raiding professions, revered or better Wrath reputations. If you’re interested, you must post a WWS or WowMetersOnline along with your application, and MUST log out in PVE gear for proper armory inspection.

If we are interested in your app, we will contact you for an in-depth Vent interview (please do not contact us in-game.) Be prepared to answer some critical questions about your raid/achievement experience and your gear/enchanting/gemming choices. We will review EXCEPTIONAL applicants regardless of class openings.
