Nightfall is a raiding guild that runs 25-man, new content raids
Monday through Thursday, from 7pm PST to 10pm PST (sometimes later,
if people aren't zombies). We are presently filling some roster
holes in preparation for Ulduar.
We operate on a fixed roster of 45 Raiders who get priority access to raid, priority loot, and who are expected to maintain a minimum of 50% attendance per week. That's two nights of four, though obviously, we do make exceptions to these attendance requirements so long as you do us the courtesy of giving us notice if you're going to be in the bahamas for a few weeks.
With the release of 3.1 raid content, we will revert to our prior DKP system, which was an open bid system, with DKP accumulation coming from a mixture of boss kills and attendance in raid.
Nightfall defines itself as "casucore," in that most of our raiders are professionals or students, and generally have families and concerns outside of WoW. It is not our intent to compete for world firsts or even realm first kills, and our raiding schedule makes allowances for people who need to pursue other obligations outside of WoW. However, we do take our raids quite seriously and expect all raiders to take the raids seriously, as well. Raiders who do not show up prepared or who show up and do not perform will be removed from the raid and, if the behaviour is consistent, lose their raiding spot.
We have been together as a functioning raiding guild since late 2005, and have cleared most content in Classic and Burning Crusade, generally pre-nerfs. We are very stable.
If you are interested in joining our ranks, please put your application in an http://nightfall.guildportal.com.
Thank you,
Meathook & the Officers of Nightfall
