“Røcket Science” WoW Guild

Exceptional applications for roles which are not specificially being looked for will be considered. We are looking for players who want to be on the bleeding edge of Uther progression and have the drive and desire to put in the required effort to do so.

**Please be advised, if you plan on applying to Rocket Science, you should have at a minimum an average iLvl of 219 for your gear (that's equivalent to a mix of Ulduar 10/25-man and Naxx 25-man gear), for the spec you will be apping on. Special exceptions will be made, but be aware that in most cases, we are looking for players with existing raid experience and gear from at least the prior raid tier.

Preference will be given to applications that have extensive Ulduar 25/10 experience.

The Short Version
Progression: Argent Coliseum (25/10) - 1/1 // Ulduar (25) - 13/14, 5/9 Hard-Modes // Ulduar (10) - 13/14, 9/9 Hard-Modes

We have cleared the available Argent Coliseum encounters currently available. We have cleared and have on farm status all Ulduar 25-man and 10-man, and are now working on Algalon (10-man). We are currently working on hard-mode encounters within Ulduar25 to open the Algalon the Observer raid boss. Rocket Science covers all repair costs from raids.

Raid Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 7-10pm PST

The Long Version
Rocket Science is small and tight-knit 25-man raiding guild that is looking for a few more folks to fill out our core raiding group. These are immediate openings with the guild as we maintain a very slim roster, so you will be joining a successful team and play an important and integral role in our future success.

Progression
We have cleared the available Argent Coliseum encounters currently available. We have cleared and have on farm status all Ulduar 25-man (5/9 HM) and 10-man (9/9 HM), and are now working on Algalon (10-man). We are currently working on hard-mode encounters within Ulduar25 to open the Algalon the Observer raid boss. Rocket Science covers all repair costs from raids.

Pre 3.1 WotLK raid content, we had on farm all content including Sartharion 3-Drake. Prior to WotLK we cleared all TBC content and maintained a spot in the top 3 alliance guilds for server progression.

Expectations
We are a progression guild, and as such have certain expectations of our members. If you expect to not be able to adhere to these expectations then Rocket Science is probably not for you. As a member of Rocket Science you are expected to:

- Maintain at least 80% raid attendance
- Come prepared and on time to raids
- Be ready with required consumables for progression encounters (we provide flasks at cost)
- Be properly geared, and have all gear properly enchanted and gemmed for your spec
- Arrive to raids with the proper talent spec that you applied with
- Have solid movement skills/twitch, quick reaction time
- Strong Class skills/knowledge, and a high level of understanding of raid encounters being worked on

Teamwork/Dedication
In order to be on the cutting edge of content; we will all need to work together as a single entity. To help achieve this goal, one should be proactively:

- Learning/reading up on new encounters (outside of raid time)
- Understanding and following directions quickly and properly
- Executing a plan and improvising as needed
- Helping your mates when you can (The better off they are, the better off we all are)
- Being generally positive and friendly to your guildmates

Obviously when learning new encounters, we will wipe. Wiping is never fun, but a necessary evil in order to learn. Not becoming upset/frustrated, always trying to improve, and keeping a general positive attitude is key to success.

Raid Schedule
Rocket Science currently is raiding 5 nights a week, with 10-man content on off nights.

We raid from 7-10PM PST, Monday - Thursday, and Sunday. We have shorter raids than most other guilds at 3 hours a night, because we want our raids to be much more focused and decisive in execution. We realize and respect everyone has a life outside of WoW, so we make the most of our time in raid. We move at a fast past for the full 3 hours, and expect everyone to be attentive and playing at the top of their game. we do not put up with long AFKs, not paying attention, etc. We're not going to waste your time, please do not waste ours.
