WoWProgress is now tracking amount of pulls on different bosses for all guilds and characters!
1. Go to guild page.
2. Progression table contains new column:
Pulls.
3. Click "+show".
It will show raid setup including:
- characters that killed the boss
- replaced characters that didn't participated in the first kill
- amount of pulls for each character!
Here is some info about amount of pulls that did the top guilds before killing heroic bosses.

Update:
As the data has been removed from the API by Blizzard, we had to disable the feature now.

Thank you very much!

Some other bosses seem accurate though so it's definitely a bug with specific encounters.
Let me know if there are other bosses with incorrect info.

Guild A goes in on Tuesday and kills a boss in 30 pulls
Guild B goes in on Wednesday and kills the same boss in 25 pulls
As it is now, Guild A gets more points for killing the boss "sooner" and is ahead of guild B. Guild B is at a disadvantage because they raid on wednesday instead of tuesday. Factoring the amount of pulls would be a more accurate/even way of ranking (in addition to when a boss was killed).
Great feature

Still, I love this feature.
For example, we've been wiping on the first boss of HoF, and I'd like to know how many times we've wiped.
Great feature by the way :D
@alykii Its a different if you have to find a taktik for the boss or you have already 3-4 videos from the top guilds to adept. It would be really hard to calculate these fairly.

Of course the further away from when the raid is unlocked should also be taken in to account. The guild that killed Grand Empress 3 weeks ago should still be higher than the guild that killed it yesterday.

I'm already inspired to make something similar to track progress on my own realm, but I don't see any pulls/wipes/deaths to boss(es) defined in the Blizzard API - hence my question.

This!!
If pull-only rankings aren't possible (that's what I expect..), then it would at least be nice to have some pull-rankings in addition to the actual ones.

It could be automatically generated, or manually edited by the admins of the respective raids.
And it would solve the problem of the "friends & family" wipes being added to the total.
We are a 25man guild but does normal progression bosses in 10man after our 25man week wraps up. In the case of Garalon, we got a 10man kill after several 10 and 25man attempts. When the guild returns for a 25man kill, how will that track/update?
For my guild a lot of extra people are appearing that were never in the raid group. For example, my guild's Will of the Emperor kill (http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/xavius/GameSense) only has 7 people who were actually in the raid. The 8th person (showing up as 'not killed') wasn't even in that raid.
Also, is it intentionally not including people who left the guild?
so even tho only 3 players of a guild kill a boss it gets counted as guildkill. why? :(
For example, this guild's Grand Empress Shek'zeer's data is incorrect:
http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/tw/nightsong/Asgard
I tracked other boss kills after 5.1 and it seems not to gather proper data after a specific time.
This function is very nice but doesn't seem to work correctly atm?

Might explain why it isn't updating. Wasn't meant to be public info.

It was hidden API for their own research. They used that information for multitude of reasons. Balancing, nerfing, finding legitimate brick walls.
