“Earthshine” Guild

Earthshine was first created on the Steamwheedle Cartel server and has raided ever since the summer of 2011, we have raided in many forms, ranging from casual to attempting to make serious Mythic progress. We want people who are reliable and have a positive attitude.

We are looking for people who bring a good atmosphere with them, our guild is made of members from differing backgrounds which completes content together and with friends. We look to see people being sociable, helping out and just experiencing what WoW has to offer.

We understand that real life can circumvent raid plans, and takes priority, however you should always aim to be able to attend our raids, at the correct times. If you are unable to attend a raid, and fail to notify a member of the officer team about it, then it will be marked against you.
This is so that you’re not wasting your time with us, and we aren’t wasting ours with you.

Raiding can be really harsh sometimes. You can have nights of constant wipes, you need to be the person who can look on times like this and see the positives, the hints of progress.

We don’t want people who simply leave or don’t bother turning up because they're unhappy with how their raiding experience is turning out. It isn’t fair on the other members who show up and have to wait around for stragglers, but it also isn’t fair on you for the officers to expect you to turn up for something you don’t enjoy. If this is the case, please, let officers know what is wrong and let them see if they can help you.

We do accept people that do not have a lot of experience with raiding and can help to nurture them into strong players, however you do have to show an interest in performing well, and a willingness to improve. We all make mistakes, but ones that are repeated time and time again especially when avoidable, don’t have an excuse. We have had many players come in unsure of their class and how to perform that have turned into amazing players capable of managing mechanics and getting the most out of their DPS as possible.

We raid on Thursdays and Sundays from 8-11PM ST, occasionally, depending on demand, we have an additional optional raid day (usually Fridays at the same time) which is open to socials at one difficulty level under the current main raids progress.
