About us
Formerly named C O R E, Aegis is a PVE/PVP guild residing on Darkmoon Faire server.
Our raid team is competitive and aims to get the first server kills on most contents and see the end game until the last bosses. We cleared every boss from the Burning Crusade from Grull's Lair to Sunwell. We unfortunately left Kil'Jaeden at 7% before starting WOTLK. In WOTLK we cleared as well every boss, hard modes in Ulduar completed, heroic modes in Crusader's Coliseum completed. Lich King Heroic down. Current Cata raid progress is 8/13 heroic. Nef Heroic is down & Cho'gall at 5%.
We introduced our PVP team to guild at end of Wrath, initially inviting members of a niche PVP guild we already had a close bond with on Darkmoon Faire to move in with us, but quickly expanding and attracting some of the best PVPers on the server to us.
What we are looking for.
Our recruitment is currently open for a DPS of any class and a DK or druid tank. Exceptional applicants are always considered though.
You need to be highly skilled and always looking for ways to improve. You should be able to accept some criticisms without over-reacting and be able to play as part of a team. Be tolerant to others in guild (everyone has bad days) and treat other guild members with kindness and respect. Our guild/vent chat can often drift into adult subject matters so its better for all of us if you don't take offensive too easily.
We raid 4-5 days per week, 7.30-11pm during progress, less so once we reach farming status. Raiders are expected to attend an average of 4 raids per week.
What we can offer you.
Friendly guild, with a busy, social atmosphere. Chance to play with like minded people with same in-game goals to yourself. Scheduled raids, 5 days per week during progress (ofc drops for farming). 10 man alt raids (once alts are 85 are at least) and lots & lots of obscure achievements runs. We use EPGP to distribute shiny things fairly and we rotate raiders based upon requirements for the boss, skill & attendance, meaning the more effort and time you put into raiding the more you get back. We have an active PVP side and there will often be chances for raiders to get involved in Rated BGs on non raid nights
