About us:
C O R E was formed shorty after Cataclysm's release by a group of close irl friends. With a lot of its members having played together earlier than that. We have a very low turnover for a guild at the level we are at. We believe this is mainly down to our emphasis on enjoying the game and the people we play with, rather than the elitist attitude that a lot of raiding guilds possess.
As Cataclysm laucnhed we have progressed pretty fast through all of the normal content and are now aiming to improve even further with completing what is left, hard-modes and beyond. We're aiming to garner a reputation for excellence and improve on our server rankings, but most importantly to continue having fun raiding with people we like to play with.
We are a small group of highly motivated players. Our current roster consists of 10-13 active raiders and we aim to keep our group small. This means we expect a certain level from our members. Our fundamental goal has always been to maintain a high level of play within our set raiding schedule.
We do not raid into the early hours of the morning to get a kill, we rarely if ever change our raiding schedule and we set very high standards for our performance during our raids. We realise that people have commitments outside the game and we aim to maximise our performance during the time that we have. We are quite proud of our success so far while maintaining a lower raid time than most of the guilds at our level.
As mentioned before we also put a big emphasis on personality when we consider an application, we have been very careful to create an environment that is enjoyable for our members to play in, and we believe we have a reputation as a friendly group of people. If you're an elitist prick you may want to look elsewhere as you'd be wasting both ours and your time.

Tuesday/Monday: 19:30 - 24:00 (If we want to)
Wednesday: 19:30 - 24:00
Thursday: 19:30 - 24:00
Sunday: 19:30 - 24:00
What do we expect from you:
1. Knowledge of your class -> you must have the knowledge of all three specs of your class as well as be able to play them equally well.
2. Dedication -> since we are a 10man guild our success highly depends on our members' attendance, so we expect you to upkeep at least 80% weekly raid attendance (4/5 raids). During these raids you will be expected to stay fully focused and organized with flasks food etc.
3. Commitment -> wiping is your first love :) you don't whine after wiping, you don't make the same mistakes over and over again, you learn fast and are eager to improve and take criticism in a calm and polite manner.
4. Maturity -> if you cannot keep a friendly but mature attitude towards the guild and its members we are not the guild for you.
5. Communication -> you must have a working microphone and Mumble installed and be able to communicate in spoken and written English to a very high standard
6. Do NOT stand in fire! -> if you often die from standing in things you are not supposed to be standing in you need not apply.
7. Have fun -> we are a very friendly and fun to play with bunch of people. We expect you to fit in our community and be able to take an occasional joke without offense.
What can we offer you:
-> An opportunity to clear all content that Cataclysm has to offer in both normal and heroic modes
-> a highly active 10man guild with friendly and laidback members who also do a lot of fun stuff outside of wow
-> guild repairs and consumables to lessen your farming hours
Application process & trial period:
To apply, you can head directly to our website's forums for an application template. Once that is done and you've made the post, our officers will look at it and get back to you with a response withing a couple of days. We expect you to check your application thread regularly in case there are any questions regarding your apply.
Once approved for trial, you will be evaluated based on your peformance and how well you fit in our community during 2-4 raids. As a trial, you will still be able to get loot if no one else needs it, however any core raider will always have higher priority than a trial.
