Hello there! I am here to represent our guild, Spacesquid Calamari! We're in the search for friendly players who like to raid casually, which means at least 2 times every week. We've been trying to get raids together the past week and have managed to kill 5 bosses easily so far.

About us: We're mostly formed by a lot of friends who know eachother since 5 years back in time. We are all around the age of 20-23 and most of us comes from Sweden. Yet we have people from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Iceland, Denmark, Finland and China. So anyone's welcome that we think fit into our raiding schedule and have a good attitude towards raiding and the guild. We've been around on jaedenar as a guild since january 2010, though we have also been known as Krucifix before. We like to have fun when we play but yet to get stuff finished over the few hours we raid. Also we are looking for people around our own age or else you'll just have to accept our humour. :)

During WotLK we started off with bad gear and a 0% buff in ICC and farmed the first 4 bosses every week for like 3 weeks. Then the buff started to increase and we also went on to Valithria, Rotface, Festergut, Blood Prince Council and Blood Queen Lana'thel. We later on killed both Sindragosa and Putricide and after just 2-3 weeks of having LK available to kill, he finally went down the first time. After that we quickly killed 8 bosses on HC the first week. Took some time but then Deathbringer also went down and we took a pause over the summer. Then we resumed raiding and after 3 weeks we had both Sindy HC and PP HC down aswell and went on to LK HC. Here we've been so close to kill him, managed to get him to 18% once. After that we just couldn't get enough people to raid and never really had any good chances of getting him down again due to the lack of attendance. Mostly that happend becouse of Cataclysm was so close to its release date. Now we are eager to experience new encounters!

Anyways, this is our Schedule over the week:

Wednesday/Thursday: 21.00 - 00.00
Sunday: 21.00 - 00.00
Monday/Tuesday: 21.00 - 00.00

Why I have put two days together? That is becouse we might sometimes put up both days and go with the day that most people accept. Sometimes we only put up one of the days just to make sure everyone gets to raid, since our policy is: if u want to raid with us, you will get to raid with us. But to actually get a raid spot, you need to be able to attend at least 2 raids/week.

Now to you! This is what we require from you:

# You're a teamplayer and a good listener, also you can give good feedback to others and accept that you will get some too. We will tell you if you do something wrong. (Oh! And yeah, you must accept this "the new guy"-thing. ;) )
# You can raid at least 2 days a week.
# You need to be able to use Mumble as voice communications.
# You need an average iLvL of 346+ with fully enchanted gear and good gems.
# You must be a good learner, you don't need to know any tactics. But you must know your class.
# Expect to wipe a lot at some of the new encounters, so dont be one of those who give up easily.
# You need to link the [Ready for Raiding]-achievement to me.(http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=5366)
# During progress runs Cayne has the utility to choose every individual he wants in the raid for each encounter. This means you need to apply to this and agree with the terms that you might have to stay out of a few progress encounters. Sometimes you will be chosen and others have to stay outside the raid.

Current recruitment status:

We are once again pretty much full with a lot of trials at the moment that currently are being tested if they are worthy a raiding spot with us. Check back here again somewhere around 7-14th january.

If you're interested you do not need to apply on any forums. Send either an in-game-mail to me or Fnorda, or you could whisper any member online and see if they can get you an officer to talk with. Preferably you would talk with me(Beefhoof) but also Fnorda, Leighton and Cayne works just fine if I'm not available.

Best regards,

Beefhoof, Recruitment Officer of Spacesquid Calamari
