What we expect from you
As an applicant for Trekka, we expect you to love the game and have a desire to progress on heroic modes.
You must have a very good insight in how your class and the game works, and you play it optimally, as well as always trying to improve.
We want players that are well prepared for raids which includes to study the boss encounters beforehand, always have consumables ready, signing up for raids and most importantly be there on time.
You are mature player that are able to take as well as providing criticism to other members of the guild.
We communicate through the English language and therefore you must be able to make a clear conversation in English.
Speaking on ventrilo, promoting your ideas of for example how to improve the tactics for a boss encounter is really important to us. An encounter can be defeated in a ton of different ways, depending on how you progress during the fight.
You must have a stable computer and internet connection.
If you don't have any experience in heroic, let it be previous raid tiers or the current, don't bother applying.
About us:
Trekka started up at the launch of Cataclysm on Ravencrest. At that time the guild only consisted of irl friends. The guild became a top 7 guild on Ravencrest fairly quickly, but due to inactivity and peoples lack of interest in the game, the guild pretty much split up.
After several months of casual/pug raiding we now decided to take a step forward and look for a few more rosters to progress further in Dragon Soul and Mist of Pandaria.
We have only been raiding for two weeks with the current roster and have cleared 5/8 on heroic in dragon soul. Four of the kills were done before the nerf (5% debuff)
We use loot council to decide the distribution of loots.
