Fortune Favors the Brave is actively recruiting for Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. We are looking for a few more people to fill out our raid team. We do accept players from other servers/factions and do not require a server transfer.

-Progression Raid Nights: Thursday/Friday 8:00PM - 11:00PM Eastern Standard Time
-Alt Raid Night: Fridays at 8:00PM - 11:00PM Eastern Standard Time or takeover the Prog nights once Heroic is cleared. Will be starting 2-3 weeks into the season.

About Us

We are a semi-hardcore group of friends that has been slowly growing over the years and finally hit critical mass to make our own guild. We are a very seasonal heroic raiding guild and many players tend to take a break from WoW after we get AOTC. We cleared Vault in 9 weeks and Aberrus in 6 weeks. Going off those numbers and knowing there is a larger ilvl jump in 10.2 then previously we will likely clear Heroic Amirdrassil in 8-10 weeks. Most of our members are 25+ with jobs, so many players are on around 5pm-12pm EST. We have several members who enjoy Mythic+ on the side mostly 11s-16s. Having raided as a team for a few years now, we tend to poke fun at each other and ourselves. We are all adults, so we use vulgar language and don't tolerate real drama. During our downtime between raid tiers, several members of our team branch out and play other multiplayer games as a group (ex: Ark, Diablo 4, Valheim, 7 Days to Die, V Rising, Deep Rock Galactic, Gartic Phone etc.).

What We Are Looking For

We are aiming for a team of 15-20 raiders. We believe in quality over quantity for our raid team. At the moment we are recruiting a few healers and DPS for Amirdrassil. While we would prefer the classes below for their raid buffs/utility any exceptional healers or DPS are welcome to apply:

Priest = Shadow
Druid = Balance / Feral
Warlock = Demonology / Destruction / Affliction
Deathknight = Unholy / Frost
Demonhunter = Havoc
Mage = Fire / Frost / Arcane
Hunter = Marksmanship / Beast Mastery/ Survival


What We Expect

-Must have Discord and a working microphone/headset.

-Must download and maintain required addons (WeakAuras and DBM/Big Wigs).

-Must agree to our loot roll guidelines. If you win a piece of gear in Normal and the same piece of gear drops in Heroic within the same week, please do not roll need on the Heroic piece of gear. This helps to prevent wasted upgrades for the Raid as a whole. Do not roll Need on behalf of other players. Do not roll Need on 5th slot tier pieces until everyone on that Tier Token has their 4-Set Bonus or already has Tier in that slot.

-We trial for 2 weeks of active raiding. There are no loot restrictions on trials so if you show up and raid you get the same shot at loot as everyone else. During this 2 week period you won't have access to the Guild Vault or any of the benefits associated with it such as Guild Repairs, gems, enchants, phials (although we will use cauldrons most of the time anyway), runes, and potions. After the 2 week period if you feel like a good fit and want to stay we provide all of the above for all of our raiders main characters.

-Our raid team has a rule where if you are consistently under performing (aka grey parsing on logs) you will be benched from raid until you can bring your performance up even if just green parses. For the first 2 weeks of raiding all raiders are given a pass as everyone is learning new fights and some are playing new characters so it's understandable to get bad parses early on while you adjust. If you need help bringing your numbers up the raid leader and several others would be glad to help look into what is going wrong so we can bring you up to speed and keep you raiding.

-Show up on time to raid. If you are going to be late or absent, let us know in the “Raid Absences” channel in Discord.

-Do your best with mechanics. If you make a mistake, own it, learn from it, and move on. If you are not pulling your weight (ex: grey parsing) feel free to hit up the Raid Leader after raid to work on it. If you are consistently not pulling your weight, you will be asked to sit out until it is fixed.

-When we are progressing on a boss, keep it serious. When we are farming, feel free to fuck around and kill your friends; I know I will be.
