“Second Option” Guild

Second Option was formed from a group of friends that realm transferred from Aerie Peak to Mal'Ganis in search of a better raiding experience. Many of us had the skill to raid mythic content but our old server was pretty much dead so recruitment was slim to none.

Now that we are on a competent raiding realm we are ready to take mythic by storm!

We are always recruiting, but we also like to show respect to our raiders that have stuck it out with us from the beginning. A player that has always showed up consistently, has a good attitude, is willing to help and has the SKILL necessary to raid mythic will not be replaced at a moments notice because someone "better" came along. We have no idea who that new person is, are they here to farm gear from our runs then leave? Are they just back to the game and unsure if they want to stay? We go out of our way to help each other that we know we can depend on.

With that being said, we also like to keep our raiding atmosphere competitive in an attempt to bring out the best in our raiders. Yes sometimes a particular raider may get sat if they are having a bad night be it dps, hps, tanking ability or mechanics, but its not the end of their raiding career in our guild. Next week is a fresh slate. You should be in our raids to help the team succeed, not just yourself. If you are asked to sit, it will ALWAYS be backed up by logs and not some arbitrary reason, there is no favoritism shown to certain core members.

On our heroic farm nights you can expect A TON of shenanigans, smack talk and just an overall good time. Farm nights is our time to let loose and really enjoy the "fun" aspect of WoW. There will be many 18+ jokes and lots of trolling but its all done in good fun.

We like for our progression nights to be a different story however. Yes there is still a laid back atmosphere and we're there to have fun, but things are much more focused. Discord is pretty much quiet other than the important call outs via healing cd's, raid call outs, etc etc.

We have a very active M+ community, so even if raiding isn't your thing anyone is always welcome to participate in running M+'s.

Second Option is a guild where you can enjoy making friends in WoW but also focus on progression raiding if that is your thing.
