“Endeavor” Guild

Endeavor (RENAMED from Adeptus Mechanicus) is a 10-man raiding guild that is currently 12/12 in Cataclysm content and looking for several skilled, knowledgeable, and dependable players to fill out our 10-man roster as we start hard-modes. We have lost several full-time raiders to real life reasons in past weeks and have immediate openings to fill those positions.

1 Holy Paladin with strong offspec of either ret or prot
1 Lock

Ideal candidates will display not only an in-depth knowledge of class mechanics for their chosen specialization, but also a willingness to adapt and improve as class mechanics change through the progression of the game. Understanding of more than one specialization is a huge plus.

As a guild, Endeavor raids Mondays and Wednesdays from 8pm-11pm. Because we only raid six hours a week, it is imperative that every member come to raids fully prepared, ready to focus 100%, and with a full understanding of how to best execute their given role for each encounter. On top of this, raiders are expected to show up prepared for each raid.

That said, we understand that WoW is just a game. People have family, friends, jobs, hobbies, and many other interesting activities outside of WoW that are important, and we do not want our experience with this game to interfere with that. WoW is a game, a way to relax, a temporary release from the stress of life, and as a guild, we treat it as such.

Given this way of thinking, it is not surprising that Endeavor was founded as a tight-knit group of friends that have been raiding together for quite some time. We are a family, on a first name basis, and we expect new members to maintain this friendly atmosphere. An ideal candidate should also be interested in guild participation beyond raiding. We like to run daily heroics, PvP, and level alts. We'd like to get to know you outside of raiding too.

In closing, Endeavor is a guild of close friends that wishes to continue enjoying the pleasures and challenges that this game has to offer without it interfering with our daily lives. As such, our members are expected to be friendly members of the community while still maintaining a very high level of performance.
