“Mirth” Guild

What is Mirth, you say? Right-click on that chair and get comfortable, although I should warn you… it ends in a cliffhanger!

Mirth is a guild that got started in Legion by a group of friends who had never lead a guild before but had a vision. Somewhere fun where raiding wasn’t subject to more stringent performance management than we had in our day jobs.

From that little idea we made a guild with a name that sounded pretty cool. We started raiding with an open raiding group on Alliance Argent Dawn, then we found our feet and got enough people to start our own raid team.

We had a blast going through the Nighthold, Tomb of Sargeras, and Antorus getting Curve in each of these fel-green raids and kicking awesome demon arse. Following the BlizzCon BfA trailer we all changed from Alliance to Horde.

But now we are in BfA… oh… suddenly we were without our artifacts… our legendaries… and instead we had… *eugh* Azerite.

Our team made it through Uldir before the mountains of trash and old God corruption wore away at our very souls.

We lost people in Uldir. Though we vanquished G’huun it was not without great cost, fully half our number had had enough of WoW at that point.

Humbled by the new expansion we formed a community with two other guilds in a similar spot to ourselves so that we could continue to raid with our depleted numbers.
