Please take the time to get to know what we are about below and fill an application out on our website! We look forward to talking to you in-game! All applications will be considered and we also would like to have more people around if you aren't interested in a core raiding spot.

Who are we?

Bando Gora is an end game, 10man format, hardcore progression on a casual schedule guild. We work hard to be the best that we can be in the two days a week we raid current content, with amazing results. We pride ourselves in being close-knit, dedicated and loyal both to our mission statement and our player community.

We are always looking for very exceptional players and keep moving strong after the Cataclysm. To be considered, we ask for each of our applicants to fulfill certain requirements. We don't want to waste your time and we hope you don't want to waste ours. So let us define the type of raider you are, exactly, and why we're looking for you.

You know your class inside and out.

You not only know the best rotation for even your weakest spec, but have the sufficient gear to back it up. Your browser's favorites have a plethora of links to blogs, discussion boards and informative blizzard notes regarding even the most miniscule details about your chosen class, to be summoned at a moments notice. Your knowledge of your class borders on obsession and nothing will change that.

You are an EXCEPTIONAL raider.

This means you have an extremely intimate knowledge of gaming and what it takes to play your toon to its utmost potential. Don't waste either of our time by applying if you are anything but head and shoulders above the "average" WoW player. We will find out if you aren't, and you will be gone.

You meet our raid times.

Nothing makes you as excited as spending your Thursdays and Sundays decimating big-baddies. You will always, with special exception to emergencies, be available 8:50PM EST - 1AM EST on raid nights. The idea of being late without mention you find disgusting, and you have self mutilation kits ready just in case.

You find the idea of not being prepared for a fight criminal.

You find the tanks or raid leaders' persistant vent call outs redundant. Hell, DBM only knows when things are about to happen because you're the one that told it. You're actually pretty sure you've got the strategy for Deathwing ready to go.

You find the idea of not being prepared for a raid night punishable by Death.

You can't remember the last time you went more than 20 minutes without getting a new piece of gear enchanted and gemmed after a raid. Your stock of flasks and pots sent alchemists into early retirement. Reagent Vendors had you on their Christmas Card mailing lists.

You understand what the word Progression really means.

You're not afraid of the challenge new content brings, and expect to wipe for at least a night on it. You're even prepared for more. You still understand, however, that previously cleared content does not count as acceptable material to commit the crime of wipe fests on. Progression should never be regression.

You expect and accept constructive criticism, even after a hard night.

The raid leader won't come close to understanding your class as much as you do, but their words of wisdom are still important and received well all the same. You understand you are a part of this guild for a reason, so you acknowledge they aren't picking on you. You take pride in how your raid leader picks your performance to dissect and vow to hone the skills they mention to perfection.

You voice concerns to your raid leader or a guild officer in whispers or through private messages on our site, but not in a public venue.

You find the idea of Drama in any sense appalling.

To even think of starting drama causes you to break out in hives, and your natural reaction to others' drama is to change the subject to how your group owned face in the last raid.

You aren't just interested in the "9-5."

Your guild should be as close to a family as you could hope from an online community. You shouldn't be afraid of staying on after raids, coming on before them, leveling alts with us, or just shooting the @@%% around g-chat.
