About us:
<Fathom> is a Cutting Edge raiding guild on Mal'Ganis, looking to bring a fun and positive experience to the community. We listen to suggestions and feedback from our members in order to continuously improve. While progression raiding is serious, we do also enjoy hanging out in Discord together, goofing around on off nights, pushing keys, doing alt runs, and playing a variety of other games together.
We represent Fathom Gaming, which is an esports organization operated by our GM, Cutegrampy. If you are interested in becoming involved with our stream team, please let us know.
We also want to make sure to prioritize our raiders' real lives ahead of WoW. As long as you let us know, with as much advanced notice as possible, we are okay with you being out. Just don't no-call no-show.
Expectations:
We expect our raiders to
Have a Great Attitude - Our community is something we value immensely, so it is important for us to find positive and respectful people to play with. Drama and/or disrespect will not be tolerated.
Be Team Players - We want players that value the success of the guild over their own parses or personal gain, which includes handling undesirable mechanics and being benched for a more optimal composition. This may mean you won't be in every fight or that you may not get a particular piece of gear.
Have a Passion to Improve - All our roster spots are competitive and complacency is dangerous. We value players who are constantly pushing themselves to improve. Everyone has room for improvement, even world first raiders, so we want players who can take constructive criticism from others, as well as analyze their own gameplay.
Be Prepared - Coming to raid prepared is much more than just having consumables ready. We want our players to do research about upcoming progression, pay attention to Discord for strategies and tips, and have all necessary addons or WeakAuras.
Respect Others - The effort you put in directly reflects the respect you have for your fellow raiders. This also includes letting us know if you won't be able to make raid. You won't be punished for this, but you affect the rest of the team by not saying anything.
Needs:
Currently, we are recruiting exceptional players in all roles for our Shadowlands roster. We do not recruit for the bench and will always put our best possible group in for each boss. If we trial you, it's because we believe you will fit in with our main team.
