“Lumé Quenta” Guild

A hearty hello to you all!

We, Lumé Quenta, would like to introduce ourselves to Darksorrow and let you all know we are recruiting!

We are a group of friends coming from the Scarshield Legion server, partly from the Horde guild Primal Fusion and partly from its original Alliance counterpart Lumé Quenta. Since it would be difficult to recruit enough people again that would fit into our new guild, we have decided to move to a more populated server and well, here we are now on Darksorrow! Before our move we had cleared 1/6 HC in Mogu'shan Vaults.

We are currently recruiting pretty much any class/spec to bolster our forces. This may of course change over the course of our recruitment and we will be regularly updating accordingly. We are not accepting just anyone into the guild however: we are looking for people with a mature attitude towards the game and towards other people and who are looking to put effort into improving themselves and each other. The impression new recruits make in their application will be quite important - make sure to put effort into it, but also to be honest about your aims and attitude, as getting into the guild while knowing beforehand you may not fit that well will do no-one any good.

In short, this is what we are about:

- We want raiding to be fun! Whether we are progressing smoothly or having a hard time, there is always time for a laugh.

- We expect people to be prepared. Not having the optimal food buff, flasks, gems, reforges and so on is disrespectful to those who did make sure they prepared well.

- If we see people struggling with stuff like tactics, determining personal stat weights, or anything really that is not an easy google, we aim to help them instead of flame them. We want to build our guild by building people, not by survival of the fittest.

- We handle loot distribution with a Loot Council, noting that officers herein will have no priority over regular raiders. We want to be gearing up everyone evenly, keeping attendance in mind.

- We are keeping an open mind: if there is anything disagreed with or disliked, we expect people to be open about it and at the same time it can be expected of the officers to listen to them. The basis should always be respect to each other, raging and similar negative speech will be frowned upon and is not likely to help anyone.

- Our raiding nights are wednesday, thursday, sunday and monday, and we will be raiding from 20:00 till 23:00 server time. We expect people to be online 15 minutes before raid starts. Perfect attendance is not at all required, we operate on the basis that real life > WoW and aim at having a large roster so people are not holding up raiding if they find something else really fun to do on a raiding night.

- We expect people to be communicative, for example when a raid night can not be attended. Not responding to calender events or being a no-show without a message on the forums to tell us why is a bad.
