“Blades of Light” Guild

Welcome to the chaos of Blades of Light raiding! We:

• Are a casualcore raiding guild. We accomodate everyone we can on easier content but there is a large emphasis on performance for our progress raiding. Please be prepared to research your class, the encounters, analyse your performance and strive to be as good as you can be. Please accept that if your performance is not up to par for certain encounters (we are fair, we are talking about math here, not favouritism) you might be asked to sit out now and again.
  
• Will try to include everyone who signs up for a raid wherever we can. If you are likely to become frustrated about skill level differences on farm content, you might well end up frustrated. We are inclusive, not exclusive.
  
• Raid between 1-2 nights a week on Thursdays and Tuesdays from 19:30 to 23:00 UK time. We like to start on time and we like to finish on time.
  
• Usually farm on Thursdays and fight the odds on Tuesdays.
  
• Will not make you play a class you aren't comfortable with. Raiding with 5 shammys, none of which healed? Done that. We are more careful with our progress team but again, we want a decent player not a certain class. If you are willing to learn and grow, that's good enough for us.
  
• Have a very strong social culture of acceptance and respect for one another. This is the most important point in this list. If you want a guild community where you can be assured that people will not be judgemental or abusive, your search is at an end. Likewise, if you're prone to any form of -ism, or just being generally intolerant or unfriendly, you will stick out like a sore thumb here and likely not stay very long. We are not for everyone.

We are looking for, in order:

• DPS with a healing offspec. Your healing spec will not be used often but it will be useful in cases of attendance fails so will need to be viable.
  
• DPS with a tank offspec. Your tanking spec will not be used often but will also be useful when we have some sort of rare epic attendance fail.
  
• Anyone of any role who thinks that they will fit our guild culture well. You will need to have a working DPS spec to reliably get raid invites. We have a very strong utility spec core in the guild raid roster already.

If you join you will get:

• Access to all of our farm raids as long as you are of a suitable gear level (this is generous) and raiding skill level.
  
• Access to our progression raiding if you are of a suitable gear and skill level.
  
• All guild raids logged on Ask Mr Robot and Warcraft Logs.
  
• Access to all of our fun and sociable events.
  
• Free potions, flasks and other class/role specific consumables for use in raids.
  
• Free basic level enchants and gems for your characters.
  
• Access to our large guild Discord server for when playing World of Warcraft, or any other game with guildies or friends.
  
• Access to our guild chat which usually has people lurking around all times of day. Warning: This is a major office job productivity loss, will probably cause many headdesk moments, make your spit out your tea laughing, and can be NSFW. Consider yourselves warned.
