“Certo” Guild

BASICS:
- Raiding roster is 11/11HC but is not yet extensive for 20M raids
- Once reaching a solid 20M+, we aim to start mythic prog
- Applicants that have jumping straight into mythic prog in mind should be 950+, 75+ artifact traits & well experienced in HC.
- We are not recruiting for tanks unless they are exceptional
- There is low priority for most melee DPS but each applicant will be considered on their own merit (our DPS roster is very melee weighted right now)
- There is high priority for any healers and any RDPS
- We use Discord for raid communication and social purposes
- We raid 3 days a week, 7pm-10pm ST.
- Wed - NM - optional - gearing alts etc is welcome
- Thu - HC - compulsory for trials and cores - gearing alts may be okay
- Sat - HC - as above - to be turned into mythic prog upon 20M roster
- ANYONE is welcome to join the guild, no matter your background, your gear, your experience. We are without prejudice. Our only requirement is that you are like minded with our values (see the long boring part below, if I've kept you reading this long!)

The long part I had so much fun writing:

Certo was formed by a tanking duo at the end of December 2017. We didn't really have anything in mind for the guild at current, we just wanted a place to chill where we didn't have guild dramas!

Since forming, we have picked up a small team of really cool and capable raiders just from being out and about, meeting people in pugs and generally winning people over with friendliness.

Due to this, we have sped up our aim to be a "raiding guild" to Antorus instead of BFA.

Our current roster for raids entails 11/11HC members that are all invested into their classes and roles and know the HC fights like the back of their hands.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of hardcore "pushy" recruitment - we do not have a roster extensive enough to start 20M mythic. I don't really believe that spamming recruitment messages and extorting all channels results in getting a large number of applicants that we would like to raid with, into the guild.

We'd love for people to come because they would like to progress, but also hold a lot of hope that they will make friends in their new guild, would like to help people in their new guild, whether it be leveling or sticking some fresh 110 boost alt through some low keys. We hope people will come into the guild willing to have our backs, and quickly learn we most definitely have their back too!

We have no one that really clashes or locks horns with anyone else in the guild. As such, we are only recruiting like minded people to keep our guild atmosphere chill and warm - we like it that way. Those that behave in a way that threatens this will be promptly removed.

Our values:

Helpfulness - There is a huge emphasis on helping people in Certo, it's one of the things we pride ourselves on and is an essential quality for any member and any rank.

Humour - We love puns, you're automatically accepted into the guild if you apply with one that makes us smile. Due to the raiders coming together naturally, we're pretty close knit. We have a lot of inside jokes, don't feel left out - we'll explain them to you and you can be there to make more with us!

Equality - No person in our guild or connections should be treated below yourself or anyone else, gear is gear, logs are logs. As far as respect goes, our 900 ivl socials get the same respect as our 960+ raiders. Elitist mentality does not belong in our roster.

Maturity & Grace - Going back to being helpful, we like to help people that haven't raided much but want to get into raiding (so please don't be afraid if that's the boat you're in!). At some point, those people may hold a raid back. You will be given chances to improve but if ultimately you prevent people from clearing their weekly raid, you will be asked to step down and this should be done maturely and gracefully. If you would like to improve on the things that hindered raid performance, just ask, we are more than happy to hammer things over and over until you nail it :D - just not in a setting where people expect their weekly clear, some people have time constraints.

Strive for Improvement - It doesn't matter how big, how small, how much help you need to get there, just push yourself to be better for your own satisfaction. Shout some people to come along if you want help getting there or just company along the way.

Fun - Have some of it, lots of it, it's a game after all.
