“Famous” Guild

Due to recent problems finding suitable recruits on the alliance side and the lack of players available on Sylvanas <Famous> has decided to go Horde! Recruitment is open for most classes and roles with prio on ranged dps! All exceptional players with the right mindset will be considered.

Who are we?

Famous is a collection of like-minded individuals set on exploring endgame content in World of Warcraft. We try our best to combine very high standards of play with a pleasant raid environment and a guild structure that allows our players to successfully maintain their commitment to the game while having other things in their lives. Make no mistake, we're dedicated to what we do, and everyone that comes to a raid with us should be prepared to put effort into doing well. Despite that, we also realize that things happen in people's lives: loved ones die, jobs require overtime to be put in, and people burn out. We work hard to create a hardcore guild environment in which people can raid endgame content and also go out and see the sun every once in a while.

What does Famous do?

To put it simply, we raid. Our raid times are 19.00 - 22.00 Wed/Mon, 18.00 - 22.00 Sunday server time (CET). We expect people to be there, on time and ready to raid. Guild activity does not end after raid time, and you'll find that Famous is a pretty active place on off days, full of people doing things like alt 10 mans and sale runs, PvP, playing other games together or just general bullshitting.

What's different about Famous?

We offer a strong playing group and a fairly relaxed raid environment. Encounters get harder and patience wears thin, but we try to keep levity in our raids. We aim for the lowest possible turnover by creating an environment and a community that people enjoy. Accordingly, we're pretty picky about who we recruit, and if the recruits don't fit personality-wise they don't last long here, regardless of class or skill. We require no alts, split runs, or grinding outside of raid.

What is our goal?

Famous wants to provide quality raiding with the 2 scheduled raids we got. With a good recruitment strategy and equal-minded players we see ourselves as one of the better raiding guilds that raid 2 times per week. We expect all our effort into recruiting the right members for our guild will take us to a top 5 ranking on Sylvanas for Patch 7.2, during Tomb of Sargeras.
