“Its only Noorrmal” Guild

Hey all,

Its only Noorrmal (3/11 M - Raid 1) is a new guild that has recently transferred from Frostmane Alliance to Tarren Mill Horde. We are a group of players that have been raiding casually in social raiding guilds, while also doing PvP etc, and have decided to go back to Mythic raiding as Heroic is just too easy, but will be bringing with us the casual ethos that we enjoyed. Almost all of us are Mythic raiders who have come from a wide range of guilds and realms, but all met on Frostmane over Legion.

What to expect here?

A Mythic progression atmosphere that does its best to maintain the casual ethos of a non mythic guild. What does this mean? We have lives. We all quit Mythic raiding for casual Heroic only, but simply could not enjoy it over the long run due to it being simply too easy. To put it plainly, hardcore schedules and Mythic guild attitudes that burned us out of wore us down over the courses of expansions were too much, but Heroic only and refusal to attempt Mythic out of fear of the 'Mythic toxicity' were too little. This guild aims to be the middle ground.

What this does not mean.

It does not mean we are super casual and will give up on a boss, nor will accept that 1 person will hold 19 others back because they cannot handle a mechanic or cut the numbers. We expect people to be good, to pick their favorite class and spec, and master and enjoy it. We dont expect you to be the worlds best player but we also expect you to be good. Both numbers wise and mechanically. We are doing this because of our raid days and hours. We wont be putting too much into raiding, we are not fighting for positions on realm, we are trying to do this as economically as possible, clearing the content before the next patch (while it is current) without rushing into it and burning out from the sheer hours it took to clear in such a time frame! Therefore we expect all people to know their class, to play to the best of their ability, and do their best as a collective to down bosses in our limited time frame.

What do you have to commit to.

We raid 2 nights a week. Wednesday and Sunday. Currently the raid hours are set at:

Wednesday - 20:00 - 23:00 REALM TIME
Sunday - 19:00 - 22:00 REALM TIME

On release of a new patch, we may add a 3rd raid night for a few weeks depending on how peoples attitudes are at the time. But it wont be for an extended period of time.

Obviously we want you to attend raids as much as possible, but we really cant stress that enough. If you have to go, then of course you have to go. Now that also means you have to understand if you are having regular issues attending, while we will of course understand, we may have to replace you until a time in which you can re-commit to a schedule that works with us.

The guilds goals..

The goal of this guild is, in summary, to clear the content on Mythic within the entire time frame given, which will prevent burnout and increase enjoyment long term. We want this to be a stable community that achieves a lot at the same time. In our free time, we REALLY enjoy Mythic plus and will aim for the very highest keys. We will also be doing guild RBG and Arena, again pushing for titles and mounts etc.
