About Dawn of the Undead

Dawn of the Undead (DotU), one of Turalyon's oldest Horde guilds, born in 2005, have been going strong for well over 12 years now. Our goal has been to create a pleasant environment for both social players and for those who enjoy raiding.

DotU is a mature guild with members generally in the age range of 25 to 50+. Therefore we are looking for people with a minimum age of 18 years old, but preferably 20+, however we do accept lower ages in exceptional cases (family etc).



Raid Times

Our main raid times and days are (server time):

Thursday 20.30 - 23.00
Sunday 20:30 - 23:00
Tuesday 20.30 - 23.00

Usually having 2 progress raids (THU&TUE) and 1 social/farm raid (SUN), per week.



Recruitment for BfA

Recruitment is currently closed as we have around 30 people listed for raids atm. Will update as we get closer to Mythic raids as things tend to change. If you would really still like to join DotU raiding team, feel free to still do the application or poke any officers in game for guestions.


Working off-specs or alts and ability to fill other roles if needed, are always a plus. This concerns especially tanks and healer applicants and dps who can flex into those roles, but also classes who can switch between melee and ranged dps.

Adding that we are not elitist and have chilled and mostly relaxed, but also progressive raid environment, where player "skill" levels do vary. Most important thing is to have fun and progress together through the raid content, as far as we can, while having some good laughs doing it :)

Additional Information

We are always open for social/casual spots. On a side note could mention that we are a super friendly guild, where there is no raging and always good spirit. Many of us played this game for a long time and still remember those Vanilla times :)

For those interested in raiding, we expect adequate preparations(proper gems/enchants and general care for their raiding toon) and an urge for team-based progress.

We don't have a mandatory % of raids you need to attend. We understand IRL limitations, many of us share them as well. Of course, skill and commitment are attributes that we favor highly in our raiders. You must also be able to arrive on time, with flasks and food ready to use.

We use discord for voice and general out of the game chit chat. We also have forums and an awesome & easy to use web page raid planner for raid signups.


PvP
Our members are doing some random daily Arenas, BGs and even RBGs. We are also occasionally having proper Guild RBG games. Few members also have nice Arena achievements, so if you have passion for either, might find some new friends in the guild to do those with :)

Mythic+
There are several groups weekly doing 5-man Mythic +15 runs for the max weekly cache. Shouldn't need to pug them. Some members are also pushing in the M+ scores to +20 and above.


WoD progress: HM 7/7 HC, BRF 10/10 HC, HFC 13/13 HC, 6/13 Mythic
Ahead of the curve on both raiding tiers

Legion progress:
7.0 to 7.1.5: Emerald Nightmare & Trials of Valor Heroics cleared (Ahead of Curve done), on Mythic 6/7.
7.1.5 to 7.2: Nighthold Heroic cleared (Ahead of Curve done).
7.3.0: Tomb of Sargeras Heroic Cleared (Ahead of Curve done), on Mythic 5/9.
7.3.2: Antorus Heroic Cleared (Ahead of the Curve done), Mythic 9/11.
