Who is <Terrible>?

<Terrible> started almost 5 years ago on Sargeras. The guild was formed by Sugg (Salv at the time) and Gloam (Hirn at the time) with the goal of being a top end raiding guild. After transferring to Shadowmoon to find new recruits for Sunwell, <Terrible> took off and was able to kill 4/6 bosses in Sunwell within a few weeks; notably killing the Eredar Twins encounter in less than 15 attempts on our first night. <Terrible> was also able to down M'uru before 3.0 was released.

The guild also came quickly out of the gates in WotLK, getting server first kills & titles for Sartharion and Malygos. The guild also featured a top 50 US kill of Sartharion 3 drake, and obtained both drakes from Glory of the Raider. At the release of Ulduar, the guild was able to score a first week kill of Yogg-Saron after only 5 days of raiding, often raids of 22-23 people. A few weeks after Ulduar, many players of the guild either moved on to a new game or moved on to other guilds. Many of the members that moved to other guilds were able to accomplish server first Algalon kills, many hard mode kills, and various other notable accomplishments. After getting back together for ICC we were able to clear 11/12 HM in 25 man and 12/12 HM in 10 man and all HM content was cleared prior to 20% dmg buff.

Now back, <Terrible> is working to get back in full force. Many of our core raiders have returned to the guild and are looking to return to the glory days of the guild. However, we could use a few more raiders to flesh out our core of 28-30 raiders. After gearing some re-rolls, and re-gearing our mains to current gear, we have been able to accomplish quite a bit in our time back. We have cleared all normal FL's content as well as 1/7 HM's in our first week of HM attempts.

What do we expect in our recruits?

As stated above, <Terrible> hosts a core of 28-30 raiders. We do not recruit for the bench, therefor we expect our raiders to be very active. Many of our raiders hold 100% raid attendance, almost none under 90%. We also are only looking for players who bring a high level of play to everything they do, for example, the use and knowledge of how to effectively use macros, mods, and anything else you may need as well as a clear understanding of what it takes to maximize everything you do in raids. We expect recruits to make all raids, and to come prepared with flasks and potions, or any other consumables used in raids. As we only raid 2-3 days a week, we need people who are quick learners and can adapt to situations quickly. We want applicants who are confident with their play; everyone makes mistakes, it is learning from them, and fixing them, that makes a great player. Our guild also hosts many avid forum goers, and our forums are very active, so we would like applicants to participate.

General Guild Information

Raid Times: "Flexible" raid schedule, which basically means we raid when it is best suited for our players. So around RL's, holidays and so forth. We are looking for players with generally open schedules to accommodate for our more random raid schedule but we encourage people with strange schedules to apply and see if we can work around your odd schedule!

We host 1-2 10 man groups in guild (2nd may include some alts) that are put together throughout the week. We try to make sure all raiders get into a group before the week ends.

Officers: Sugg (GM), Hirn (co-GM)

If you want to know more, feel free to contact one of our officers in games.

To apply, sign up on our site at http://www.wowterrible.com and post an application on our forums!
