“Implementing Extreme Ownership requires checking your ego and
operating with a high degree of humility. Admitting mistakes,
taking ownership, and developing a plan to overcome challenges are
integral to any successful team.” Jocko Willink
To be successful in anything, this is the attitude and mentality I expect of myself, first and foremost, but also our officers and raid members. The only way to improve and to become the best iteration of yourself is to admit your errors, your limitations, and then to challenge yourself to overcome those obstacles.
I expect our guild members to do what is in the best interest of the guild above personal gratification yet simultaneously seek to achieve the highest levels of personal achievement possible. I expect us to challenge each other to find the correct strategy to problems we are faced with above the one we want, AND to have the humility to accept an answer we disagree with if it means that the guild will ultimately benefit.
I'm a firm believer in open communication. I am open to discuss any issue with any guild member to seek a resolution and will humbly admit when my decision was incorrect and I will encourage my officers to keep me honest, transparent and fair.
I also want the guild to be a fun place without toxicity and elitism. Please help each other, but also be the type of person that others will enjoy helping. Let's always work on building our relationships by being honest and direct with others and ourselves. The better we focus on these things, the better we can progress, the more we can accomplish.
If you're looking to chase parse, belittle, condescend and are unwilling to accept direction, Get Schwifty is not the place for you. I am not a tyrannical raid leader and I don't believe in treating people in that fashion, therefore, I expect the same professionalism and courtesy in return.
Ultimately:
Be punctual. Do what you say you're going to do. Be polite. Be honest. Be direct. Always seek to improve.
