The Guild was founded on August 8th, 2009 and has been home to some of the finest players Tanaris has to offer. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly atmosphere and a casual raiding schedule consisting of only 2 days a week while still upholding many of the same beliefs of many hardcore progression guilds.

As World of Warcraft grows older so does its player base. Raiding 5 days a week in a hardcore progression guild becomes out of the question for most of us and our daily life seems to take away some of the fun in World of Warcraft. Our players still want to raid but our schedules don't allow us to raid all the time. That's why we only commit to raiding two days a week, Wednesday and Thursday from 9PM to Midnight (Eastern). Our raid times are subject to change, we may raid at earlier times on some nights to milk progression but we will hardly ever go past midnight.

Like many hardcore progression guilds, we take attendance very seriously. If you cannot commit to our times then please do not apply. We understand that sometimes things come up but we also understand that everytime someone is absent they're holding back 9 to 24 other players (depending on raid size) and when that starts happening often with multiple people, you're literally dragging everyone down with you. That's unacceptable. Therefor, raid spots will always be given to members that show up on time and have better attendance.

We are looking for players that enjoy raiding and like a challenge. We expect our raiders to be gemmed and enchanted with the best possible options for your class, spec and role (we understand the prices on epic quality gems may be outrageous at times and we will accept blue quality gems as an alternative in such case). In addition, other raiding essentials are required such as flasks, pots and food. Raiding essentials are not optional and should be used in every fight. In most cases we will provide feasts and caudrons but that's still no excuse to come unprepared.

Finally, we look for skilled raiders that are always looking to improve themselves as players. Raiders should have a good grasp on their rotation, talents, glyphs, raid buffs, cooldowns, etc. Afterall, we're not playing your character. Raiders should have excellent awareness and be well informed about your character and encounters. If an encounter has been out for awhile, then chances are there are a billion guides on the internet and there's no reason that you should not take advantage of this information. We're not here to hold your hand and we're not here to give out free gear.

That being said, though our schedule and atmosphere may seem "casual", the way we function is far from "casual". Though we may not raid 25hrs a week, we still want to be the best and therefor, raiders should always play their best.
If you're looking for a guild that only raids when they feel like it and gives you free gear just because you're in their guild then this isn't the guild for you. If you're looking for a raid leader that tells you exactly what to do, calls everything out for you and all around plays the game for you... Then this definately isn't the guild for you. When the latest content patches come out, we'd rather figure out the strategies as a team before the videos and guides reach the internet.

One final note, though our jokes may be a little immature sometimes and sometimes we may sound a little harsh when we joke around with each other, we like to maintain a mature atmosphere. This means direct name calling, whining and causing scenes in guild chat when you feel something is unfair will not be tolerated for any reason. We prefer to maintain an environment where people ENJOY raiding and playing the game. If you're not the raid leader and you're yelling at people in vent or putting people down or giving up before the raid leader says we're done or being an all around douche, then don't bother raiding with us.

At the end of the night, everyone should feel like a respected raider, a capable player and a key role to our success.
