“Variance” Guild

**We are currently on raiding hiatus until the BFA Prepatch, but still willing to hear from interested players**

About Us!

Variance is a mythic raiding guild on Thrall. We have existed on Thrall for over 6 years, raiding off and on each expansion. What you will find in our guild is an atmosphere that is both welcoming, and very successful in raids.

Players that join our guild, join to stay. We pride ourselves on having a very low turnover rate and credit that to ensuring players will be a good fit with us before considering them. We aren't interested in players looking to just be a number in the roster.

Previously hosting a successful 1 day/3h a week weekend raiding team, we are now looking to bring up our raid time to 2 days/6h a week and we are looking for some talented raiders to fill up the mythic core to push for cutting edge raiding.

Recruitment Needs

- All classes are currently sought out to fill our raid team. Roles being looked for is mentioned below:

Wednesday: 8pm - 11pm EST
Thursday: 8pm - 11pm EST

We will only ever require raiders to stay for the scheduled raid time. Extending past 11pm is always left to a vote and is only ever an occurrence when we are extremely close to a kill.

- A welcoming atmosphere. Our raiders are inclusive in guild events and everyone works hard to make the guild feel like a big group of friends instead of feeling like just a banner to unite under.

- Stable and experienced leadership. Our raid leader(s) and officer core are all very talented and experienced raiders. Our raid leaders are previous top 50 US raiders and come to the table with that experience to put into practice to create a very capable leader core.

- Capable raiders. Even though we are, for all purposes, a more casual guild, we still actively seek out skillful players for our team. You won't find any players in the group not pulling their weight during raids, but you also won't find raiders putting parses before kills. We are all in this together. We work hard to help each-other improve to be the best we can be as a TEAM.

- A stress-free, 0 drama, raid environment. Our leaders and officers work hard to ensure raids are kept as relaxed as possible, while still ensuring progression occurs. We quickly stomp out any drama before it becomes an issue.

- Fair loot distribution. We currently use RCLootCouncil for loot distribution. Our team of 4 officers, as well as 1 random raid member each week, help decide on handing out loot. We decide what item will be best where based on how it will help us with progression.

What we ask of YOU!

- Attend a minimum of 75% of raids (6/8 per month)

- Perform at about a 70%+ average in heroic for your class

- Show up on time, with consumables, ready to raid
