Pzalm | US-Illidan | Hello. I am a Windwalker Monk player who has been raiding since
Nathria ("since" isn't the best word; I quit after Nathria because
that expansion blew too hard to keep paying to play). Even though
that's not very long, I believe my skills would be advantageous to
any team beyond melting into the background as just another DPS
player. I was the creator and GM of a highly competitive guild on
another MMORPG, Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). We were ranked #1 or #2
across all raids for the time that I was raid leading. My
experiences with in-group raid leading, maneuvering the complex
team social dynamics (e.g., cliques, arguments or debates, gossip),
and steering the team optimistically through difficult boss
fights/phases during progression set me apart from many other DPS
players in that I understand and can contribute to every facet of
team coordination. I am an incredibly aggressive and relentless
player when it comes to progression, and I will be dedicated to
addressing any feedback I receive (e.g., if you tell me I need to
do more keys this season, I will 5-stack blast keys until my eyes
bleed). I also bring a large, magnetic personality to raid, and in
the past it has not been uncommon for people to begin using phrases
or jokes or quirky little words that I spit off top. I am a gamer
through and through—I need to perform to the maximal possible level
within the limitations of my peak ability, and I will always work
to achieve that in the environments which best foster that growth
and improvement. Even though I know most raiders don't really PvP,
I will also quickly mention that I was 2.4K in 2s on Disc priest in
BFA and 2.1K on Windwalker before I quit in Nathria, so I have a
fairly cohesive understanding of many facets of this game across
many classes and how various mechanics interact in and outside of
the raiding environment.
