Guild Profile

Primary Language: English
Raids per week: unknown
Recruiting (outdated): closed
We're a competitive group of players Horde side on Magtheridon, brought together by a desire to explore all the content the game has to offer. We raid up to 5 nights a week (Sunday - Thursday, 7.30pm - 12.30am), this has been pretty consistent for the last couple of years. We're the #2 guild on Magtheridon and somewhere in the top 60 guilds worldwide. Our members hail from all over Europe, with English being our language of choice. We recruit based on three factors, listed in order of importance:

Player skill
WoW really isn't very hard, but it's amazing how badly some people can play. If you can't avoid the multitude of beams, fires, clouds and other sparkling death traps this isn't the guild for you. You should feel you've got a great understanding of your class and be on top of your game all the time. One eye on the TV or your hand in a bucket of chicken while you're playing does not help, the ability to remain focused for the entirety of our raids is highly valued.

Personality
We really like people that have a positive attitude. You should be able to take insults on the chin, it's going to happen at some point. If you can't accept constructive (and sometimes unconstructive) criticism, this isn't the guild for you. If all that drives you is wild fantasies of having every item in the game, this isn't the guild for you. You'll like it here a lot more if you play outside of scheduled raids and enjoy the social aspect of the game. We have an alt guild that runs BT and Hyjal on off-days, do a couple of Karazan runs/ZA sell runs each week etc. Make an effort to get to know people and you'll get tons more out of playing with us than by being a mute raid logger (unless you're a tool in which case it'll probably get you removed).

Items
We run a tight roster, so when we're looking for a specific class it means we really need you and don't have the time to gear up. You need to meet a minimum gear requirement.

Here are some general guidelines if you're thinking of applying, so you don't waste your time:

- Have at least the best gear from BT/Hyjal, ideally some Sunwell items. We MIGHT consider your app without perfect pre-Sunwell gear, so if you think you're totally badass and we'd be doing you a criminal injustice by not reading your application, send it our way.

- Fluent English speaker with a working mic (we use Ventrilo).

- A good internet connection; not two cups joined with a piece of string. If you disconnect every 10 minutes or your brother won't stop torrenting porn, please don't apply we already have 5 of you guys.

- 90%+ raid attendance. As I've said before, we recruit people to raid and most of our roster is really static. If we accept your application we're going to want you to be available for our whole raid week (Sunday - Thursday, 7.30pm - 12.30am).

If you do decide to apply, best of luck. You can get in touch with us via IRC (#flatline on QuakeNet). Please don't nag us in game, if your app is accepted or denied you'll hear from us via forum PM, email or IRC in due course. Thanks!
