About the Guild

<None the Wiser> is an active community that's been around since Vanilla. We welcome both casual and veteran players into the guild with the majority of our members joining through friend's of friends, whether it be online or in real life. We mostly do PvE content but we do have a few players that love to do battlegrounds and arena. In regards to our raid team, we are casual pushing semi-hardcore, but at the end of the day we are still looking to just have some fun while progressing as far as we can.

The guild culture is usually laid back and the majority of players are older and have been around for a while. We all try to get along and do our best to help each other out when we can since we're focused less on crushing parses and more about a positive community. We also do optional normal raid Sunday runs that either more casual or alt players will come to that is run at the same time as our Tuesday/Thursday runs. This is a long term guild/home, we take our guild culture very seriously with the "don't be a dick" rule.

Our main goal is to find reliable, good, capable players who wish to progress on mythic content. I'll be upfront, we will probably not get Cutting Edge most of the time, but most of us don't care, we just want to play the game and get along with the time we do have available. If you are looking exclusively for a Cutting Edge guild, we are not the guild for you unfortunately. If you are part of a guild or group that is looking for a new home, message me so we can chat first.

We have our own discord and many of our players do games such as HOTS, Overwatch, CoD, and non-Blizzard games. Many of our players will play other games, so don't think we all only exclusively play WoW!

Raiding Times:

Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:30 P.M. - 9:30 P.M. Mountain time (Server time)
Optional Sunday raids at 6:30 P.M. Mountain time (Server time)

What we are looking for:

Right now we are looking to recruit for our core progression raid roster. We are mostly needing ranged dps and flex players (preferably dps/healer flex). We have a core mythic roster and try to keep it around 25 people that are mythic ready since we will have players frequently have events happen in real life or are sick and need a few extra ready to step up. That does not mean we will not take you if you do not meet those requirements, but if you're looking to mythic raid it certainly helps.

Because our schedule is rather light (2-days a week for a total of 6 hours), we need to make sure that our core roster can keep up with the team. Ideally 90% rough attendance. We understand circumstances come up, so we try to have a few other players ready to step in, but for the most part we need reliable players who can perform decently, show up on time, and have a decent attitude. If there are major holidays, we don't usually expect players to show up (such as Christmas or Thanksgiving). For a list of total requirements:

Ideally ranged dps player, flex player into healing are a bonus

Can make majority of raids on Tuesday/Thursday (90%)

Has a decent attitude. This is extremely important to us. We will pick a player with double grey parses over a toxic player with legendary parses every day of the week. We're all playing a game at the end of the day for fun.

Have decent performance in both mechanics and parses. We aren't expecting you to get legendary parses, but if you're getting grey parses in both your overall and ilvl for a fight, it makes things difficult for the team. Everyone has their off days, but try to keep up for the team!

You are expected to try and learn the fights on your own time, know your class, be able to play more than 1 spec within your class if we need it for specific mechanics, along with coming to raids with most of your own buffs.

We do provide guild feasts and cauldrons, but try to be reasonable for things such as runes! We're all adults here looking to play the game at a higher level while having a good time.

Recruitment Process

We usually would prefer to see you come to a Tuesday (Heroic) or Sunday (Normal) raid and raid with the team. Having existing parses on warcraftlogs helps, but being able to see your mechanics helps us with our decision as well. It also gives you an opportunity to decide if you like the guild culture as well. Thursdays right now are the progression days, so trial players will not be coming for that. Other ways we may test you would be higher level keystones as well. We usually do not need to extend the trial process over multiple weeks, more than likely within 1 raid reset we will determine if we want you as part of the core progression team or not.

For loot, our process is usually along the lines of: If it drops for you, congrats! Yours to keep, no one will make you hand it over. If you like it for transmog, great too! We encourage anyone who does not want their loot to trade it to one of our officers who will roll off the loot. We will do 1-100 rolls for main-spec rolls and 1-1000 rolls for off-spec or transmog. Since we try to be fair, if a player has already won a main-spec roll previously in the night then loot priority will be given to the next highest main spec roll. If all other rolls are off-spec/transmog though, the main spec roll will win the loot. Trial players will probably not get priority in main spec rolls unless no other players want the loot for main-spec.

Contact Information:

More than likely if you are interested, you simply need to contact me. You can reach me on, Dralas#1314. I usually check daily, but if I do not get back to you within an hour, worst case scenario is wait for the next day to roll around.
